Draven is a registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern who enjoys working with individuals, couples, children and families. Draven specializes in working with couples and individuals. Draven received her B.A. in Psychology from Cal State East Bay and a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from John F. Kennedy University.
Draven’s approach is client-centered (or person-centered), allowing the client to process in ways that feel safe to them. With patience and gratitude for the gift of vulnerability, Draven strives to create a space where all clients feel safe and heard. Draven is a sex-positive therapist who believes that sex is a normal and healthy part of a relationship. She also believes that sex and sexuality can be expressed in a variety of ways. As a couple’s therapist, Draven believes that truly understanding your partner is the first step towards honest communication, a better relationship, and that everyone can benefit from learning new communication skills.
