I am a registered Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in working with children the age of preschool through adolescence, as well as adults. I received my B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from St. Mary’s College.
As a therapist, my goal is to provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where I can assist my clients in identifying and working through various challenges that may be getting in the way of them living the life they envision. In sessions with me, clients experience a warm, genuine, respectful environment. I offer a very personalized approach specific to each client’s needs and tailor that approach throughout our work together. I utilize a variety of modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy, art and sand tray therapy, as well as utilize solution-focused and mindfulness approaches.
When working with young children who are unable to articulate what is bothering them, my approach is to utilize art, play, and sand tray therapy during which expression of unspoken feelings, concerns and fears may emerge.
I invite you to contact me by phone or email with any questions and/or to set up an appointment.
