Emilio Alvarado, MFT
Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Emilio uses a person centered/humanistic and integrative approach to counseling to help clients unearth and process life events and behaviors which have led to unwanted discomfort. Emilio enjoys collaborating with clients to expand their awareness to self, through mindfulness and other
techniques, and works with clients to develop new approaches to address concerns impacting their lives.
Emilio is passionate about his work and believes people have the innate ability to be great, overcome adversity and restore a secure sense of self. Oftentimes, throughout life, we come in contact with events/emotions which can leave us feeling stuck or unsure about ourselves. He believes therapy can assist all of us in processing these emotions and come to a place of acceptance and growth.
